(Chicago, IL) — February 23, 2010. From the Department of Believe It or Not, former Governor Rod Blagojevich is bringing his circus to Northwestern University to lecture students on–”Ethics in Politics”.
From the Daily Northwestern:
Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich will speak to the Northwestern community at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2 at Cahn Auditorium. The event, titled “Ethics in Politics: An evening with Former Governor Rod Blagojevich,” is sponsored by College Democrats.
“A conversation about ethics and politics is important to have,” said Dan Rockoff, vice president of programming for College Democrats. “There isn’t a better person out there to discuss this than former Governor Rod Blagojevich.”
Rockoff apparently slept through the English lecture on irony. There is a better person than Blagojevich. Trust me. But he would have to give up his spot under Wacker Drive in order to attend.
Blagojevich will apparently, without make-up, present his clown act to a panel of actual professors who will question the soon-to-be bunk mate of former governor George Ryan on his philosophical views regarding ethics. Sheesh.
Does it get goofier than this?
What a colossal waste of reason not to mention, well, time and tuition.
