(Chicago, IL) — October 20, 2010. Democratic State Rep. candidate Daniel Biss of Evanston, who is seeking the Illinois House seat being vacated by State Rep. Beth Coulson (R-Glencoe), is leading GOP rival Hamilton Chang of Wilmette by 11 points, a new poll says.
The Illinois Manufacturers Association, which released a new round of state legislative polls on October 18, has Biss leading Chang 50.1% to 39.3%.
The poll was taken on 10/14/10 with 927 responses and a MOE of 3-4%.
It’s 12 days until November 2.
Stay tuned.
I saw Daniel give a very moving, funny speech at Northside DFA.
In addition to being a really smart guy he is also very focused and good at politics.
I suspect Daniel has a bright future.
Posted by Carl Nyberg | October 20, 2010, 1:46 PMThis is a huge mistake. Biss has been heavily backed and funded by Madigan’s state Dem party, as well as labor unions. He will be bought and delivered to Springfield in order to vote in lockstep with Madigan and keep the state in a death spiral of spending and borrowing. No change will happen if we keep electing the same party-line drones to serve under Madigan in Springfield. Biss is a pawn and a joke, and needs to go back to teaching.
