(Springfield, IL) — February 8, 2010. Illinois Senate President John Cullerton (D-Chicago) and Senate Minority Christine Radogno (R-Lemont) will host a bi-partisan dinner of senators and staff at Governor Pat Quinn‘s house.
The dinner at the Governor’s mansion in Springfield tonight, Monday, February 8, begins at 6:00 p.m.
Good for Cullerton and Radogno.
It will be interesting if Senator Bill Brady, front runner for the Repubican gubernatorial election and Sen Kirk Dillard who is just 400 votes behind both show up for the dinner. In light of Scott Lee Cohen getting off the Democratic ballot for Lt. Governor I wonder if 27 year old Jason Plummer would be willing to get off the Republican ticket so whover loses for Governor on the Republican side can run for Lt. Governor. Just a thought. One dramatic move deserves another. And both Cohen and Plummer were unknowns who used substantial personal money to win their surprise victories.
