Illinois Election Results 2010: With 65% of Precincts Reporting, Sen. John Mulroe Leads Brian Doherty in State Senate Contest

(Chicago, IL) — November 2, 2010. With 65% of precincts reporting, State Senator John Mulroe (D-Chicago) is leading Alderman Brian Doherty (R-41) for the state senate seat vacated by former State Senator James DeLeo (D-Chicago).

The latest results are: Mulroe-18,840, 55.8%; Doherty-14,915, 44.2%.
