(Chicago, IL) – October 4, 2010. Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady rumbles off on the “Clean Break Express” bus tour of Western Illinois on Monday, the first of several statewide tours before election day.
“We have only four weeks before we make one of our most important decisions in our state — whether we’re going to have a clean break,” said Brady, a 17-year veteran of the Illinois General Assembly.
Brady will wander through large and small communities in the coming weeks on the campaign’s bus. The tour that begins today in Galena and end mid-October in the collar counties.
Monday’s schedule is:
- 8:00a.m. Galena
- 10:00a.m. Freeport
- 1:30a.m. Dixon
- 2:00p.m. East Moline
- 3:30p.m. Galesburg
- 5:30p.m. Macomb
Each leg of the bus tour will end with a rally for supporters.
“I’ve been talking with voters this whole year, and the demand for real change is clear in every part of our state,” Brady said. “I am going to talk with voters about the distinct choice for our future this election offers.”
Brady will visit local shops and restaurants, sitting down with residents of Illinois, and he will visit local businesses to talk about the economy and jobs, according to the campaign.
