(Chicago, IL) – November 1, 2010. Among those who say they have already voted, Republicans lead Democrats by 11 points, a new national poll says.
According to a Zogby poll from Oct. 29-Nov.1, 2010, 54% of voters say they chose the Republican and 43% the Democrat. Additionally, going into Tuesday, Republicans have a 50%-45% lead over Democrats in the national Congressional generic ballot, the survey says.
Finally, the poll, which surveyed 2,056 likely voters and has a margin of error of +/-2.2%, also found that by 48%-43%, voters do not believe their Congressional representative deserves re-election.
Not good.
The national numbers add up to trouble for Illinois Governor Pat Quinn and U.S. Senate hopeful Alexi Giannoulias.
Stay tuned.
