Dan Proft
(Chicago, Illinois) – November 14, 2009. The New Trier Township Republican organization today endorsed Dan Proft for Governor in the Illinois 2010 Republican primary.
In a field of seven candidates, Proft garnered the most votes on the first ballot, tying with Andy McKenna on the second ballot, resulting in a dual endorsement of Proft and McKenna.
“I’m deeply honored by this very important win for our campaign, winning this endorsement on Andy McKenna’s home turf,” said Proft. “I want to thank Committeeman Tolbert Chisum and the entire New Trier Township Republican Organization.”
“Just like the Schaumburg GOP, who endorsed my candidacy last week, the New Trier GOP gets it,” added Proft.
I met dan Proft and talked to him and felt he was right guy for job. since then I am now against him. he does not want to return emails answering questions about issues that is going on. he wont respond with the answer of who does he want for Lt Gov. He wont respond to question of income tax hike. He does not respond to any questions asked to him. he does not want to appear when invited to Ill tea party questions but he hangs with his wealthy friends and gives answers. Now he is just another candidate that avoids common man. whis you luck anyway
